We are delighted with the care that our dog Gandhi receives from Essential Dog Services. He is always so happy when the car pulls into the drive to drop him off for day care and he races in to give Mary a cuddle, so we know how much he likes to be there. “Baxter came into our lives as an 8 week old puppy and is our first dog. Mary couldn’t have been more helpful. She gave us constant advise and training tips.

Baxter was unfortunate to have been diagnosed with food allergies but Mary has been amazing is helping us find the right foods and has helped to care for his allergies. Mary spends quality time with Baxter and keeps us updated on what he has been up to. Mary cares for Baxter as if  he was her own and takes genuine interest in him and his health.

Baxter loves his walks and spending time with Mary and friends, whether its walks in the park, at the woods and by the river. Mary really does offer a ‘home from home’ experience too, where Baxter can chill out at Mary’s house or play in her huge garden.

I highly recommend Mary, she is dependable, trustworthy and is completely devoted to our little pups. I couldn’t imagine life without Mary.

Daisy absolutely loves her walks to all sorts of different places with Mary and her other furry friends. She always comes home worn out but can't help but wag her tail excitedly to tell me where she's been and what she has done!

Thanks again for all you do, you’ve been a godsend!

Thank you for looking after Dollie over the Bank Holiday weekend. As she had previously been with you for one night earlier in the month, she was confident in returning and we had no worries about leaving her. Because she is only 7 months old, the opportunity to live with other dogs has helped with her behaviour and confidence.

It is good to know that Dollie was looked after in a home environment and treated in the same way as your own 2 dogs, giving no comparison to boarding kennels. On collecting Dollie from you on both occasions she showed no signs of stress and was fast asleep on the back seat of the car within 5 minutes, probably dreaming of long walks and playing ball.

We would certainly come to you again and we are sure Dollie would have no objections to this.

Following an experience of other dog walkers that have not been favourable it has been great to find Mary who treats our dog as if it was her own.

She has always been dependable and reliable,doing what she says she will, which has been a fantastic experience for us.

We enjoy the personal touch of the occassional text update during the day and the offer of advice which is always readily taken!

Not only does Mary dog walk for us we also have our food delivered which relieves the hassle of trying to get to the pet stores/supermarkets

Leaving Lexi in Mary's capable hands has been such a relief for us and makes the working day abit less stressfull.

Peso has been going to spend the day with Mary since she set up her business. He always comes home absolutely exhausted after a day of walks and playing in her garden.
He loves going out with her and gets very, very excited as soon as her name is mentioned.

The care Mary has shown my 12 month old lab Hunter has been priceless. From the boarding Mary provided my dog for a week, to the nutritional information and putting Hunter on the appropriate food best to suit him. To the advise Mary has given in all aspects of Hunters training he is now a placid dog that accepts commands on the lead and how to behave around people and other dogs.

I would highly recommend Mary’s care she shows the dogs in her care and would not hesitate to recommend anyone that needs Marys services like dog walking to food advise etc

Mary has walked our pug Norris for over two years and I couldn’t recommend her services highly enough. Not only does she walk the dogs but she cares for them and our dog has become much better behaved (recall / relaxed) through going with Mary twice a week.

Norris goes ballistic when Mary shows up which highlights how much he loves her and his walkies and he always comes back ready for a big snooze after his adventures through the fields with the other pooches.
